We fought for freedom while over there, so that our country would have no fear. But while we fought through mud and dust the folks back home, didn't care about us. They carried signs like BAN THE BOMB and DON'T SEND US TO VIETNAM.

At first it didn't bother me none, but I've seen my buddies die one by one. Now I'm still here fighting.....but just to live. My life for them, I'll never give. My friends and family, I wish them well, but all the others can go to HELL. I'll hate you til the day I die, you made me see my buddy cry. I saw his arm a bloody thread.....I heard them say "This one is dead".
