Hoorayyyyy.................we got rain..........no wait, its just the kids running the shower...mmmmmmmmmm..........oh well, Your Old man would have been O.K. in Alice Springs.it never rains there, all the water comes up from Springs.....hence the name (although I have to admit I dont know who Alice is!!!!)most of the rivers there are dry pathways ,that only flow when it rains over in Queensland and runs through the place, because its down hill from there......Ministry is going well , I am still doing scripture at schools and teach an extra class this year, I think I am going to give scripture at High School a go soon as there is a vacancy comming up. Still doing the occasional Marriage counciling now and then. My Daughter Olivia is putting together a demo C.D. ,She composes and sings her own songs, some of which are christian , so Im thinking of a way to tie that into the ministry......How about your end Pete are you still slaying all those demons......from what I can tell there are a heap in San Diego with left feet, and a bad speech impediment, Im thinking we should visit their sites and post a little scripture (like the whole book of Isiah) to help them cast those demons out,,,,,,,,,,,what say you

How goes the ministry/plan?
I guess the good news is Iran hasn't nuked anything yet.
And to think back in the 70's my Dad wanted to immigrate to Alice Springs.
Whew, that was close.
Have a good one mate!

Well fellas, thats a severe speach impediment you got there, but then again I could be mistaken , it could be deep and meaningful words to a Rap song, and then again it could be the American intelligence organisation sending a secretly disguised code measage......naaaaaa! on second thoughts its someone who has brain damage..........I must say though MAUIFORSALE does twig my interest, is it going cheap and if so is it because its slowly going to disappear due to rising sea levels.
Hi Pete.I would say its the second senario for repentance and is applicable the first time its done when seeking salvation and also any time after that when one is already saved....what say you Sonny!!!

Repentance,
Who's standard/criterion applies, the one repenting or how He wants one to repent?

1Jo 5:18 We know that no children of God keep on sinning, for the Son of God keeps them safe, and the Evil One cannot harm them.
"IOW, only if he can sin, can he lose salvation. But he who is born of God cannot sin because the cause of sin cannot approach him."Sonny
1Jo 5:16 If you see a believer commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray to God, who will give that person life. This applies to those whose sins do not lead to death. But there is sin which leads to death, and I do not say that you should pray to God about that.
1Jo 5:17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin which does not lead to death.
I not sure your "cannot sin" is an acurate reflection of "sinneth not".
I can't think of to many people professing christianity who live a sinless life style in deed.
And by your criteria, it's not adding up to good.

Hi Sonny,
Welcome aboard!
Interesting, as of late, I'm of the mind that the first order is to repent.
No repentance, no baptism.
Luk 24:45 Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,
Luk 24:46 and said to them, "This is what is written: the Messiah must suffer and must rise from death three days later,
Luk 24:47 and in his name the message about repentance and the forgiveness of sins must be preached to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem.
Luk 24:48 You are witnesses of these things.

Hi Skypilot.
Yes, I agree that there are different sorts of baptism identified in the bible. I had hoped to suggest that in my post.
S: baptism of the Spirit can also happen before Baptism by water.
A: Absolutely. My list was just a "typical sequence" to salvation through Christ.
Blessings

wHOOPS i BLOOPED.......SHOULD READ.........Hi Sonny welcome to the site..Im a once saved always saved adherent, however your sequence of salvation appears to need some clarity.eg, baptism of the Spirit can also happen before Baptism by water. again there are at least seven Baptism in the bible and the Baptism of John is a different Baptism to the Baptism into Christ( I think this is what you are alluding to in your sequence below)

Then we may discover the truth, that the sequence can be:
Water baptism
"Receiving" the Holy Spirit ("baptism in the Spirit")
Dying daily (surrender)
Baptism into Christ
Completion of the process of receiving Christ (promise of salvation)
Being Born of God (final, ultimate salvation).

Peter, the normal instruction we receive leads to either mistaken beliefs about the permanency of salvation, or to confusion about it. So the normal instruction must first be cast aside.
The bible tells us that "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not." (1st John 5:18).
And since the cause of sin cannot touch him, he cannot sin, and therefore he cannot lose his salvation -ever. Only if a person can fall (which requires the interference of and influence of "Satan" as it "the Garden of Eden"), can he lose salvation. IOW, only if he can sin, can he lose salvation. But he who is born of God cannot sin because the cause of sin cannot approach him.
Some object that the bible says that we all have sinned. That is true. But he who is born of God no longer sins, and God does not hold a grudge due to past errors that have been covered after we are redeemed.
Blessings

Joh 6:42
So they said, "This man is Jesus son of Joseph, isn't he? We know his father and mother. How, then, does he now say he came down from heaven?"
Joh 6:43
Jesus answered, "Stop grumbling among yourselves.

Hi Kim...God has several colours.....firstly he is Spirit.......therefore he is clear.....then it says he is a consuming fire..........therefore he is the colours found in a fire.......it also says that he was a pillar of light...therefore he is very bright......and in some books of the Bible he is associated as being surrounded by a rainbow....so he is several colours here......other descriptions indicate that when he is angry...he is as dark as a storm cloud.......get the picture!!!!.........so everytime you see a chamelion, think of God (minus the big tongue)!!!!!
Hi Anonymous.........other bathroom activities can be found in the New Testament..eg when John the Baptist had to dunk all those Isrealites that needed their sins washed away!!!!!.......same thing happened again in the Old Testament when God had to march all the Isrealites through the Red sea to get all that pesky egyptian grime of them. This is believed to be a world record for communal bathing!!!!!!even gave their pets, laundry and cutlery a going over on the way through!!!!

Howdy,
Well force five gusto may not be considered part of the plan, but in various places around the world natural disasters have wrecked havoc in countries who have been hostile/closed to the preaching of the gospel. After the the carnage, the need for assistance has left the door wide open for christian ministries and the word to be proclaimed with positive results.
Maybe a force five is part of the plan, for your consideration.
